T minus 2 months to the end of the contract in good ol Korea.

Recently, I have been exploring some of the finer "establishments" Busan has to offer.

As I ponder where life will lead me next, I simply try and enjoy my last remaining weeks here on the North-East Asian peninsula.

It has prooven to have been a somewhat tumultuous love-hate affair over the past ten months with plenty of high...coupled with low points. AS of today, I still remain relatively undecided as to where the immediate future will lead but I remain confident that at the time to take decisive action, I will be able to make a suitable and informed decision.

Last weekend, my friend Mike and I checked out a cool nightclub called MaryJanes which spared no expense in theatrics. Place was equipped with state of the art sound system, laser show and smoke screen...all that and a swing right next to the dance floor.

In my present mindset, I am not all about frequenting these types of dwellings, although occassionally it is good for some mental stimulation and just to unwind.

Take a peak.

For me, after careful consideration of my top priorities in life...I have deduced that in no particular order... family, money, career and happiness are areas to concentrate on in deciding to take a more decisive short-long term plan of action. I appreciate the group of friends and family that surround me and concede that I am not always the most apt at making firm decisions.

That being said it should be interesting to see what the next few months bring as I count down my time here in Korea, one thing is certain though with me and that it is nothing is certain as I continue to follow my path in life.

Take care and bless.

Only in Korea could a boy get away with dressing up in pastel pink.

The kids dressed up in hamburger and cola costumes for proud mama's and papa's.

Thomas "Robinhood Godfather" ..you talkin to me?

Pigs, mice and princesses!

A beautiful sunset falls lazily in the horizon.

Oryuk-do or "5 or 6 sister islands", the number of which is visible depending on the tide.

Some local fisher people haulin in today's catch.

Chilly spring day as we boat out to the islands...Gwangan bridge is backset.

We leave Mipo pier being chased by ravaging gulls...Korean flag masted proudly.

Even though its early spring...people are starting to flock to Busan's most popular summer locale, Haeundae beach where literally a MILLION people congregate on weekends.

Backlit view from the sand.

We are in beautiful spring here in Busan. Cherry Blossom trees are in full bloom and weather is just starting to feel like summer is inevitably around the corner.

This last post saw some pics of the Kindergarten graduation ceremonial stage show and a quick shot around some of the surrounding islets just off the coast. People are starting to come out more in abundance, quietly anticipating the summer atmosphere to come.

We have a new teacher from the US who has recently joined us for April and with her arrival I was able to give up ONE class...Oh well...no biggie as the days are marked on the calendar for my departure.

What the next few months and year will bring is still up in the air..(sound familiar?) but will be sure to enjoy the last few months I have available here in Korea....taking in some festivals and enjoying what life has to offer. Been checking some accommodations for July in Phuket, Thailand for July to ring in the big 32 on the beach in style. Any takers are more than free to join!! Now THAT should make for an interesting blog...wonder what B-day gift I will receive there?!

Was glad to hear my sis and her troop got back from the sunny south after an extended itinerary and congrats again on the recent birthday...still lookin pretty good from the pics despite your advancing tenure in life !! haha

The online network of family n friends is slowly growing...still waitin for the ol feller in NL to be souped up with a webcam so he can offer friendly fatherly advice face to face...any day now suppose.

Well with beach temps here, will be looking to be looking good for the beach and future posts in the ol blog...gotta keep up this body for all those that admire(inside joke...)

Good luck to Claire and her teaching aspirations and congrats to Mr W on his new post in ONT...maybe see you folks again for some soju and torture racks on Gwangalli beach.

Hope everyone is still well....peace out mi breddren dem...
